How to order

Please order through the e-shop on our website, or see our list of stockists. If you have any queries about a piece of jewellery that interest you please email: enquiries@joandjackjewellery.co.uk and we will answer you queries as quickly as possible.

Delivery

Delivery includes first class signed for delivery within the UK and all packaging materials. A signature will be requests at point of delivery. If a signature cannot be obtained then the parcel will need to be collected from your local Royal Mail depot.
For UK orders dispatch will be within 2-5 working days. For personalised items please expect dispatch to be within 5-7 working days.

International postage: All postage to the rest of Europe and worldwide will be by Royal Mail Airsure which is a track-able service and charged at £7 per order. There is no guaranteed delivery date but this will usually take between 7-10 days.

Gift packaging

All items are carefully packaged with tissue paper, gift tag, and silk ribbon. Gifts; If you let us know by email, we are happy to handwrite a gift message for you, for the gift recipient, at no extra cost.

How to pay

Our website uses Paypal. Paypal is a safe and simple way to send and receive money online. To buy on our site click on ‘purchase’ for the item you are looking to buy. This will take you to the store checkout. Click ‘make payment’ and our website will take you securely to the Paypal website to make the payment following their instructions.

Cancellations

Cancellations on an order can be made within 24 hours of the order being made. After that the order will already be processed, but can still be returned (see Returns).

Returns

A refund can be issued if you return your item within 21 days of purchase.
Returns can be made on all products other than earrings (for hygiene reasons), or items described as ‘personalised’ via their product title or description. Personalised items have been made especially for the customer, to their specific requirements, so cannot be returned. However alterations to personalised items can also be made if they do not affect the overall value of the item.
Returns and a full refund can be made on all other items if you return the item with its original packaging and with no signs of wear. Please give your order number, name, address and phone number and name of the website the purchase was made at by email prior to the return. We can then email you the return address details.
We would advise using a ‘Signed for’ service which gives you proof of postage. We cannot be held responsible for items which you return via standard mail which become lost in transit.

Once the returned item is received here a refund will be actioned via Paypal. Paypal will let you know when this is made. The process should take between 2-7 days. The refund total will include the full cost of the item minus specific delivery charges such as special deliver if it was requested for the order.

Jewellery care

To avoid: Do not spraying perfume or other solvents on to jewellery. Do not wearing in the shower or whilst swimming due to the affects of chlorine on the metal.
Always store your jewellery carefully after wearing ideally in a gift pouch or jewellery box. An airtight container will help your jewellery not to tarnish and so reduce the amount of cleaning needed.

Components

Jo and Jack select high quality components for each piece of jewellery including; sterling silver, beautiful quality Hilltribe silver and gold vermeil along with lovely quality semi precious stones, Swarovski crystals, Mother of pearl and freshwater pearls.
Joanna uses 92.5% Sterling silver components and necklace chains in Jo and Jack’s silver necklaces and bracelets and 92.5% sterling silver necklace hooks for all silver earrings. We also use some beautifully handmade hilltribe silver jewellery components and pendants in many pieces such as the bluebell shaped bead-caps for our bluebell necklaces. Hilltribe silver is exceptional quality silver with a silver content of 97-99% which gives a beautiful lustre, and feeling of quality to each piece.

Privacy

In using this website we would like to reassure customers that Jo and Jack will not give or sell customer information to any third parties. We abide by the Data Protection act 1998 and will only collect information required to process your order – name, address, telephone number and order details.
We do not store financial information. Payments are processed securely via paypal’s trusted payment system, separate from this site.
We will process all personal data fairly and lawfully with the consent of the individual.
We obtain data for specified lawful purposes. We will not keep data longer than necessary. We take appropriate technical methods to protect the security of all personal data.
Although any e-mails and attachments sent by us are believed to be free from virus, it is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that they have adequate anti virus measures installed on their computer.
We cannot accept liability for damage caused as a result of software viruses.
