Jo and Jack Jewellery was started by Joanna Whittemore in 2008 through a life long passion for beautiful jewellery.Joanna started out following the birth of her son Jack to work on developing her jewellery business at home and so create a good work life balance for her family. Initially starting out in South West London Joanna has recently acquired a larger home studio based in Kingston.
The main aim with Jo and Jack Jewellery is to create beautiful, distinctive and timeless pieces of jewellery to treasure. The main aims are to make beautiful and much treasured jewellery and to make something special for landmark occasions including weddings, births and birthdays.
Joanna has always take most inspiration from nature, taking natural forms into each pieces of jewellery including flowers, birds, leaves, butterflies and bees among others and combining these with both harmonious and bold choices of gemstone, crystals and pearls.Joanna sources high quality materials from her jewellery including Sterling silver, Karen Hilltribe silver, semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and mother of pearl beads.
Jo and Jack increasingly use beautiful trade silver made by the Karen Hilltribe communities of Artisans in Northern Thailand. This beautiful and lustrous silver is 99.9% pure silver so has an even higher silver content than sterling silver, giving you a beautifully made, and high quality piece of jewellery to treasure.
